Craig McCallum is the owner and founder of Circle M Farms, a premier Simmental and Angus seedstock operation based in Grand Saline, Texas. What began as a small herd has grown into a nationally respected program known for producing high-quality show heifer prospects, donor females, herd sires, and elite genetics. Chan Phillips serves as Manager of Circle M Farms and operator of the Missouri Division – where he plays a central role in overseeing day-to-day operations, herd development, and long-term genetic strategy for the Simmental and Angus programs. With a strong foundation in herdsmanship and cattle marketing, Chan brings a connected, detail-oriented approach that helps position Circle M Farms among the nation’s elite seedstock operations.

Chan is also the owner and operator of Rockin P Livestock, based in Maysville, Kentucky, a program known for producing competitive Simmental cattle and contributing high-quality genetics to national sales and shows. Through Rockin P Livestock, Chan has built a reputation for identifying cattle with structural integrity, balance, maternal strength, and show-ring presence, traits that align seamlessly with the Circle M philosophy.

Throughout his career, Chan has been deeply involved in the Simmental breed, working with cattle that have competed at major national and regional shows and contributing to sales programs that influence modern Simmental genetics. His experience across breeding, fitting, and customer relationships allows him to bridge the gap between elite genetics and practical cattlemen needs.

Craig Sand serves as Herdsman at Circle M Farms and operator of the Oklahoma Division, bringing decades of experience, leadership, and hands-on expertise to one of the industry’s most competitive Simmental and Angus programs. Known for his attention to detail and deep understanding of cattle, Craig plays a key role in genetic selection, daily herd management, show preparation, fitting services and long-term program development.

Craig’s career in the cattle business has had him working with elite cattle across multiple breeds and at every level of competition. His ability to blend sound cattle management with high-level show-ring preparation has earned him widespread respect throughout the livestock industry.

In recognition of his dedication and impact, Craig was named American Angus Association Herdsman of the Year, an honor awarded by his peers to individuals who exemplify excellence, commitment, and leadership within the breed.
